🎨No Jobs in the Arts are collaborating with Leicester Libraries to host free zine making workshops about sustainable futures. Register today. Upcoming online workshops:
- Ines Fernandes (03/02, 630-730pm):
Join Ines in celebrating self-expression and creativity through exploring the City behind walls workshop! In this session, we will explore how citizens feel about the city they live in, the difference we're already making in the environment we live in. We will also explore how our inherited creativity can enhance better futures in the cities we live in through zine making. Eventbrite booking link (free).
- Katie King (10/02, 630-730pm)
In this one-hour workshop, we’ll explore the complementary worlds of tarot and art-making—both powerful tools for self-discovery. After a brief look into the history of tarot, we will use the cards to spark drawings and writing, guiding you through the creation of your own eight-page zine. Eventbrite booking link (free).
Reminder: Catch up on recordings from previous online workshops on YouTube. You can watch previous zine making led by Issie Martin, Lauren Phillips, PLANET BRILL and Seleena Laverne Daye. This project is supported using public funding by Arts Council England. There will also be a programme of in-person workshops running at Leicester Libraries—see Eventbrite for more information.
