Creative Coaching:
Building a Sustainable Public Practice

Creative Coaching, ensuring art is free for the community and viable for the creative.
Why Book A Creative Coaching Session?
We believe that creativity is a public good. It should be accessible, inclusive, and free at the point of use. However, ‘free for the public’ must never mean ‘unpaid for the creator.’ Our coaching helps early-career creatives produce work that is free for the community but financially sustainable for the artist.
Our coaching service is designed for early-career creatives who want to deliver ambitious, public-facing work—from exhibitions to publications—without sacrificing their financial stability or personal well-being.
We don’t just help you make things; we help you build a career that lasts, rooted in the values that the modern creative economy demands.
How do we help you to level up?
A) The Value of Your Time
We know the creative fee is often the first thing to be cut. We flip that script. We focus on Professional Development. Instead of ‘budgeting for a project,’ we coach you on budgeting for your future. We help you articulate why paying you a fair day rate is the most important ‘public benefit’.
B) Making Art That Matters Locally
Public-facing projects shouldn’t mean shouting into a void. It means collaborating with your community. We focus on Deep Connections. We’ll help you design exhibitions and publications that are shaped by the people they are for. By creating work that is relevant to your context, you become a vital part of your local ecosystem.
C) Future-Proofing Your Practice
The world is changing fast—from new digital tools to shifting funding landscapes. We focus on Resilience. Our coaching gives you the business input to match your creative ambitions. We look at how to diversify where your money comes from so you aren’t reliant on a single source of support.
D) Conscious Creation for Community Benefit
Public art shouldn’t leave a mess behind. We focus on Conscious Co-Creation. We help you find clever, low-impact ways to print, build, and share your work. From using recycled materials for your exhibitions to eco-friendly hosting for your digital zines, we help you lead by example.
How We Fund Creative Coaching:
Creative coaching pricing structures
Our goal is for the creative sector to have professional help available to everyone. To keep our work free for those who need it most, we use a circular pricing model:
- For Individuals: We offer coaching sessions at no cost for under-represented voices, and a pay-what-you-can scale for independent freelancers.
- For Funded Organisations: If you are an NPO or a well-resourced institution, you can invest in peer coaching while directly subsidising the next generation of talent.
When a funded organisation books a session with us, they aren’t just buying coaching—they are funding a place for an early-career creative who otherwise couldn’t afford it. If you’re booking on behalf of an organisation, use the booking link on this page, and we’ll use the available time to discuss your project in detail and generate a quote.
2026 Pricing Framework
