Creative Opportunities supporting early-career creatives working in the visual arts
If you sign up for the newsletter, you’ll always know about No Jobs in the Arts projects and be the first to know about paid opportunities.
We create professional opportunities for early-career creatives at No Jobs in the Arts. Our wide range of programs, such as events, workshops, exhibitions, and publications, help people grow and connect. The fact that many of these projects’ results are free to access means that creativity can reach more people.
Bridging Local Talent and National Institutions
Our hard work has led to amazing results. Our opportunities help get publications and prints seen across the UK. Notable purchases by the Tate and the Welcome Collection are examples of this. As of 2018, our self-titled publication series has been tracking how the work of new creatives practicing in the region changes over time. Our online archive has all of our old issues and some documents from past events that you can look through.
Creative Opportunities:
- Reflective Creative Journal (RCJ)

- Pilgrim’s Art Postcard (PAP) – Rolling submissions open. Opportunity for funded travel across the Midlands for research pilgrimages.
- Ongoing opportunties to read and share zines at Lincoln Central Library, Lincoln Central Library, Alfreton Library, and Libraries across Leicester.
