Zine making kit: all arrive in a repurposed envelope, and are made from up-cycling paper materials. This helps to reduces the environmental impact of the project.
Inside The Envelope: a medley of paper inspiration, activity sheet with instruction, and map locations names (e.g. hospital and transport hub)
What is the Zine Making Kit?
Open your carefully stuffed pack to find everything you need to become the creator of your dream community:
- The Sea: A large, blue sheet that serves as the vast, generous boundary for your island(s).
- Island Making Material: Curated scrap paper and collage materials to help you build your society.
- Prompt-Sparks: Inspiring instructions to guide your hands in shaping a place of absolute equality, peace, and abundance.
- Key Creative Prompts Include: How does governance work on the island? What are the meaningful occupations of the inhabitants? How do relationships look to achieve absolute equality?
Map Your Creative Process:
- Open and Unfold: Gently remove and unfold the blue sea foundation.
- Map Your Utopia: Use the collage materials, your drawing tools, and your boundless imagination to cut, stick, write, and draw your perfect society upon the deep-blue foundation.
- Fold and Title: Once your vision is complete, fold your map back into the form of a zine, give it a suitable title, and inscribe any extra details.
- Share Your World: Post your completed work and tag @nojobsinthearts on Instagram so we may all witness your utopia realised.
